About Torrid Technologies

Happy Customers Since 1993. WebCalcs® Software since 1994.

Torrid Technologies is a privately held software and technology firm located outside of Atlanta, Georgia. We specialize in retirement planning, financial planning, and investment planning software for financial advisors and insurance agents.

Founded in 1993, Torrid Tech developed personal retirement planning software for the Macintosh and for Windows to help 401(k) participants calculate "how much should I contribute" to the 401(k) plan. That software has evolved today into the award-winning program called "Retirement Savings Planner" and is now used by thousands of consumers, financial advisors, CPAs, financial planners, and insurance agents.

Back in 1995, Torrid Tech released the first publicly available Internet retirement planning tool. It ran on our own website and was used as a marketing and lead generation give away. This technology has evolved into our WebCalcs® Software product line - over 40 modules that can be customized for financial firms for use internally or on their public website.

Our Retirement Savings Planner software for Windows® Computers provides consumers, financial advisors, insurance agents, CPAs, TPAs, 401(k) consultants and other financial professionals with a highly visual, keep it simple retirement income planning tool. The software has been reviewed in FORBES, BusinessWeek, USA Today, Reader's Digest, Trusts & Estates, Barron's, Wall Street Journal, Financial Advisor, Life Insurance Selling, and many other publications.

Today agents and advisors from top financial companies are using our software including Pacific Life, The Hartford, JANUS, AXA Equitable, Lincoln Financial, LPL, Raymond James, and many others.
